ORDERING & MOQ

Placing orders, samples & lead times.

The standard MOQ is 50 units per SKU. This applies to both catalogue orders and custom pieces. If you want to order multiple SKUs in a single consolidated shipment, that can be arranged — email us your SKU list and destination and we will confirm feasibility and freight implications.

Email us at info@zarapie.com with the SKU codes from the catalogue, your destination country, and the quantities you need. We respond within 48 hours with a product confirmation and indicative freight quote. First-time orders go through a sample approval step before production begins — no batch runs without a sign-off.

Yes. Samples are available against payment and are fully deductible from your confirmed bulk order. We recommend them for all first orders — they let you assess grain, finish weight, and construction in hand before committing to volume. Samples dispatch from Saharanpur and typically arrive within 7–14 business days depending on destination.

Lead times vary by SKU and volume and are confirmed at order stage. Standard catalogue SKUs at 50–200 units typically run 3–5 weeks from order confirmation. Larger volumes and custom specifications take longer. We will always give you a clear production timeline before you commit — no surprises after the fact.

Yes. Repeat ordering is designed into how we work. Each SKU follows a structured production process to ensure batch-to-batch consistency — the same piece ordered six months apart should look and feel the same. When reordering, reference your original SKU codes and any finish notes from your first order and we will match them.

Yes. We supply retailers, importers, gift stores, and corporate buyers — including those placing their first import order from India. The process is the same for everyone: enquiry, quote, sample, confirm, dispatch. We handle all export documentation and can work with your forwarder or arrange freight ourselves.

PRODUCTS, MATERIALS & CUSTOM ORDERS

What we make, what can change, and what can’t.

All products are made from 100% solid sheesham (Indian rosewood) or mango wood — no veneer, no MDF, no composite layers. Sheesham has a rich dark grain and excellent structural durability; it is the primary material across puzzles, money banks, and most kitchenware. Mango wood is slightly lighter in tone and is used on select toys and kitchenware pieces. Both woods are finished with non-toxic treatments and built for long-term handling.

Close, but not identical — and that is intentional. Because every piece is shaped from solid wood and finished by hand, grain pattern, tone, and inlay colour will vary slightly from one unit to the next. This natural variation is the signature of genuine craft, not a defect. Dimensions, form, and finish standard will be consistent across your batch. If you need to assess variation before ordering, request a sample first.

The pull-along toys and articulated figures are sanded smooth with no sharp edges, and all finishes used are non-toxic. That said, we are a wholesale manufacturer — it is the retailer’s responsibility to assess and certify products against the safety standards required in their market (EN71, ASTM F963, or equivalent). If you need specific testing or documentation support, contact us and we will advise on what is available.

Any SKU can be adapted across four areas: dimensions and form, wood species and finish tone, laser engraving and branding, and packaging. You can customise one area or all four — the MOQ remains 50 units per SKU either way. Send a brief to info@zarapie.com with drawings or references and we will return a quote within 48 hours.

Setup fees may apply for new artwork and are quoted at the enquiry stage. Once your artwork is in our system, repeat orders using the same file carry no additional setup cost. We accept vector files (AI, EPS, SVG) and high-resolution PDFs. If you only have a raster logo, send it over and we will advise on whether it can be converted cleanly for engraving.

Yes, for qualifying order volumes. We develop new pieces from scratch starting from your drawings, references, or a written description. The process is: brief, quote, sample approval, then production. Developing a new form takes longer than adapting an existing SKU — exact timelines are confirmed after we have reviewed your brief. Send us what you have and we will assess feasibility.

SHIPPING & EXPORT

Getting your order from Saharanpur to your floor.

All orders dispatch from Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India — one of India’s established woodcraft production centres. We ship to retailers, importers, and distributors across Europe, North America, Asia, Australia, and beyond. If you are unsure whether we ship to your country, contact us and we will confirm.

Every export order includes a commercial invoice, packing list, and certificate of origin as standard. Batch records are available on request. For private-label or branded orders, documentation reflects your specifications. If your country requires additional paperwork for customs clearance, let us know at order stage and we will confirm what can be provided.

Transit times depend on destination and shipping mode. Sea freight to Europe typically takes 20–30 days; North America 25–35 days; Southeast Asia 10–20 days. Air freight is faster but not generally cost-effective for solid wood goods at bulk volumes. We quote both options at order confirmation so you can choose based on your timeline and budget.

Yes. If you have a preferred forwarder or import agent, we coordinate with them directly and hand the shipment over at the agreed collection point with full documentation. Alternatively, we can arrange freight and insurance on your behalf — whichever works better for your operation. Both routes are used regularly by our existing buyers.

Every unit is individually packed and loaded into export-grade outer cartons built for international transit. If goods arrive damaged, contact us immediately with photographs of the outer cartons and affected units before unpacking further. We review each case and will arrange a replacement or credit for units damaged due to packing or production issues. Damage caused by mishandling after delivery is not covered.
